org.apache.hadoop.ipc.RemoteException: org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.server.namenode.SafeModeException

hadoop dfsadmin -safemode leave

If you get "org.apache.hadoop.ipc.RemoteException: org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.server.namenode.SafeModeException: Cannot create directory" exception run the above command for this is just a temperary solution. For permanent solution just check the permission of your hadoop folder permissions. make it to 755
